The company operates a mixture of company auto transporters and owner-operators. Each unit has the capacity to transport between 9 and 11 standard sized cars. The capacity is reduced somewhat depending upon the size, weight and type of vehicle transported.

The company's philosophy is to purchase new equipment rather than used units. This increases reliability and reduces down time due to maintenance issues.

We have 6 day cabs for short line and city work. Two of these trucks incorporate completely new technology in the car haul industry. They use a soft tie (wheel-strap) as opposed to the chain, hard tie to the body or frame. We have 7 highway sleeper units and 3 day cab city trucks with the new soft tie configuration. This system is much safer for the driver, less climbing around on the equipment and much easier to tie the vehicles down.
MCL has made the commitment to change its entire fleet to this new technology over the next 5 years.

We currently have 29 tractor-trailer units, 17 company trucks and 12 owner-operators.
